Car Carrier Cost

Looking at getting a car carrier to tow my GT around during restoration. Can anyone tell me the rego costs in Victoria? Also if I buy second hand is there anything I should look out for so I don't have any hassles getting rego. i.e. does the trailer need a compliance plate of some sort, is there any paper work that needs to come with the trailer, what happens during the vicroads rego inspection, etc...
