Default No clue about ute

Despite being a ford fan, thru and thru, I've had a Datsun 720 work ute for a while. It is rough and ready and makes my XC feel like a limousine! Anyway, it's time to get rid of it. The rego ran out ages ago and, despite the best intentions, I will never get around to getting back on the road.

Here is my quandry;
A big part of me just wants to get it towed away, because I have lost interest. It needs the exhaust flange gasket (which I have) and the battery is stuffed and I have just lost interest, but...

The old girl has had a bit of time spent on her over the years.
L20b fitted and celica 5 speed, springs uprated to 1.5 tonne, high-sided trayback, full length removable carrying racks etc.

So, as it stands, do you think I would get $300-400 for it? That is what I need at the moment.

Would one of those "We pay up to $1000 for your wreck" blokes give me $300 for it? Or am I just getting sucked in by their ads?

If I advertised it, is it worth $300-400 or am I dreaming there, too?

Find a Datsun or minitruck forum and put it up on there?
Being an older style ute it may be desirable to the Datsun fraturnity?

A wrecker would probably give you $100, tops..... if you took it to them!

Most of the above posts seems like a much better option.
