Keeping in mind my au is in mint condition and the vt is trashed out and beat up beyond road worthy haha
Tell em to come and race me in my '12 ute and I'll put em in their place when trying to compare a newer car to an older car.

Take on the VT Supercharged V6 which is the AU XR6 equivalent and see what happens.
Show me. Wrong the xr6 would take on the vt s pack while the super 6 and ss would take on the xr8 and xr6 vct

I think both the V8 and the S/C 6 were classed as SS models and not S Packs.

All tickford enhanced falcons (EB-AU) had different cams, springs, valves. Perhaps you're thinking of BA/BF where xr6 means better suspension or something..

To the OP, i've raced many commodores of that era and newer (on private roads of course) and it's always the same outcome - check out my new exhaust tip boys! ..it's the SS's and WRX's you have to worry about.

Yeah they were all Tickford enhanced be it HP or VCT.

The matchups weren't wrong, the VCT models had more power but at the same time were heavier(auto only like the super6 as well from memory).

Some might say otherwise but in comparison with the 5.0 VT SS & S/SS L67, either version XR6 could win quite easily.

Those VCT versions launch quite hard!

Yeah had a feeling I may have had my wires crossed with that one, thanks for confirming that.
