Tonight I replaced a blown fuse for the stop lights. When I turned the ignition back on a loud beep came from the dash and since then the car no longer starts. Could I have accidentally triggered the smart shield to thinking I'm trying to steal the car?.......The smartshield hand flashes ninety to the dozen when i try to start her
I have dash lights and radio, but absolutely nothing else. Is it curable?

check the engine fuses in the engine bay worth a shot

no longer starts, does that mean cranks but won`t start or is just plain dead.

Check your key, make sure the transponder has not dropped out of the handle end. Do you have a spare to try?

I'm starting to think the fuse to the smartshield may have been removed while the ignition was still on.............Any chance that may have created the problem?

Thanks for all the suggestion all. The car is now back up and running.
It was the dome light causing the issue
