Hi All, after reading the reviews of the shockworks coilover set up and looking at other brands I gave the Shockworks guys a call.
After a discussion with Brett I have placed a order and for a set for my BA MkII GT. Brett seems to have a wealth of knowledge of damper settings and he appears very helpful with advise. Hoping to fit them next weekend and after a wheel alignment I will post some feedback. |

I received my Shockworks package about 3 days after ordering.
So credit to guys for a fast delivery to Tassie. I opened the box, and these are packaged very secure. The build quality looks spot on, fantastic finish and look very durable with upgrades over the stock set up. I finally got some spare time and fitted up the coilovers. It was a very simple process, with Brett giving a couple of tips when I ordered them. He even said if I had any questions when fitting to give him a call. I didnt need to, but nice to know he does provide aftersales support and advice if needed. It did take me a couple of goes to get my preferred ride height, but no issues. So I can highly recommend these are a genuine straight swap for the original set up. I have only taken my car for a short blast along my favourite county back road. Oh my God, what a difference. I couldn't believe the improved feel and handling these have made. I even did a u turn so I could travel back over the same road because the car felt and handled great, a major improvement over my previous set up. It has transformed the car. Thanks Shockworks. I highly recommend their package to any BA - BF owner. |
