Default goodbye Zetec R

Insurance company wrote off my perfectly drivable and much loved car. If anyone is looking for a great project this is worth chasing up. It will be auctioned by Manhein Melbourne sometime shortly. Car is being picked up from my place today.Done 200,000ks, only one issue - mysterious dying when weather is very hot - looses power so you have to slow down or stop and turn off motor for a while and then its ok. Otherwise its excellent.

Let me know if you are going to look at the car and I can give you any details that you may need.

Cheers, - now to find something else for the money they are giving me (sucks!)

why did they write it off ? has it been involved in an accident or is it because of the problem with the hot weather ?

yes it had some marks on the front bumper and the lower spoiler was damaged and my wife backed into a fallen tree when turning around it needs a new left hand rear quarter panel and some other bits, but still perfectly drivable. CGU said it should go for low two's at auction
