My Focus has Ford scuffs as well. I think the brochure has the Focus ones as an accessory.

Am I right in thinking the wrong ones have been fitted? Ihave seen American Focus' with the "Focus" plates.
It states in the brochure “Front door scuff plates –stainless steel with etched vehicle logo” “A” for ambiente/trend “S” for sport/titanium. They are standard on sport and Ti.
Off to the dealer I go. . .

Perhaps the ones that come with the Sport and Ti are the Ford ones but the "add on" ones that you can get for the Amb & Trend have Focus on them.

Good luck. They told me my sedan would have LED taillights. All I got was a free service for the 15000 klm in return.

Correct...

The factory fitted ones have a Ford logo... the dealer fit for base models have Focus on them...

Dont ask me why.

The wording on the brochure and the accessories site made me think it had to be wrong. My dealer confirmed the "Ford" ones are correct and the "Focus" ones are an option to buy through spares. Weird. Any way all sorted now.

Reversed my car out of the work car park yesterday, as I selected reverse and the car began rolling backwards, herd a huge pop and air gushing. Found a piece of metal (work at a metal company) stuck in my tyre. Took it to the tyre place today, they’re gonna try and fix it with some special method but it may require a new tyre.

The happy side is today I received my wheel from James (perfect timing!) Mate, can’t thank you enough. Driving around with the black spare just wasn’t doing it for me hey! You’re a legend mate

Man that is amazing timing. I'm really glad it arrived safe too.
Now you just have to find the btard who put the metal behind your wheel.
Amazing to think you're driving around with one of my wheels. Great stuff. I'm glad I helped you out.

Looking good mate. How much did you pay for the tint? Been quoted $395 for ‘Octane’ which I’m told is slightly darker than ‘Midnight Express’ which sounds ok to me. Wheels look great though hey!

The clear puddle lamps look ACE! Much nicer than the 'yellow' look of mine.

That is a great price I paid $460 for mine including the windscreen bar. I couldn't see much difference in either tint but thats just me and my computer tech eyes. Will you get their Sirius paint protection? I just need a day off and I will get it.

I put LED bulbs in my puddles to try and get closer to the licence plate white light. Might try a higher SMD but I like them.

PS the wheels don't show the dreaded brake dust they go a kind of gun metal colour. Niiiice.

Ouch! Speaking of tyres, I need to pump mine up...I'll just need to figure out how to use the damn tyre pumps first. Haha. :(

Had to show a guy in a brand spanking new BMW M3 how to use them the other day! "My car told me to check tire pressure"... Helped him check 3 wheels to find the fourth completely flat - duh!

I feel your pain. My work carspace is in front of an electrical spare parts & service department that loves spilling sharp little screws and computer chips all over the ground. Could they save the tyre? General rule is less than an inch from the sidewall = new tyre. Your's looks pretty close.

Should know today if it can be fixed, which is $50 as opposed to $300 for a new tyre. Fingers crossed.

$265 later, the tyre is stuffed. Price varied from $350 from a national dealer, to $265 by a local guy! Payes to shop around. Will have a new one on Tuesday
