Default Likely buying a Focus

Hi guys

I'm looking to purchase a Ford focus and like these 2, the thing is the first link is a later model being 2007 and a GHIA and the other 2006, which has had its stereo/unit pulled out (the one seen in the pictures) and replaced with an after market one that fills only half the space, resulting in the volume controls behind the steering wheel not to work.
Is it worth paying $2000 for GHIA and 1 year later model and original stereo unit.

or

I would obviously never pay full price for the one with the stuffed stereo/radio/controls and would try get it lower.

Thanks, I have another thread here too:

Pretty sure you can get them wired so the steering wheel controls work, had it done on my Falcon when I went to digital radio...
or just put a factory stereo back in it...

Only you can answer that question.

If it were me buying, I'd take the Ghia, no question. Clean, original, top of the range with all the extras. Unless there's something seriously wrong with the car, take it.
