Default Why not just sell it ? XR6

So Here is a photo that a lot of you have probably seen, and knowing my luck , there was a thread earlier about this topic.

It is the pic of the guy who obviously hates his XR6 because it has had some problems. My question is why , if you hate a car so much dont you simply sell it and buy something else ?

Does anyone know of this guy, and has anyone had this many actual real problems. Sometimes I think people blow small issues out of proportion. So my falcon wont start every now and then, , and it has a rattle in the fuel filler breather, , but is there any car that is perfect ? ?

If this guy hates this car sooooooo much, , why bother to even wash it ? Why spend $100 on a sticker ? Just sell it, , but a commodore and order even more stickers...

The problem is when you buy a new car you quite often can not jut get rid of it
If you buy the car for $35000 depreciates 35% in the first 12 months = 27000 and the outstanding finance is probably more like 31000 depending on the baloon and the intiial deposit.

It is very hard to get out of any car under 24 - 36 months if it is financed without having to find a substancial amount of cash to tip in and then not have a car at all.

Some dealerships and I am not just taklkng ford Just do not care, and eventually even the most minor defect becomes the straw that breaks the camels back.

On the other side some defects are very difficult to pinpoint and then rectify within both the customers requirements and the manufacturers rules and regulations

Some people get some unlucky cars, heh.

I've only had the discomfort in witnessing one lemon Ford - a BA GT-P fully optioned. Geez he was ИИИИed.

Guys can we just clarify.

The problems with this car were actually rectified by Ford. The owner did end up selling the car and bought a Territory.

On a side note this picture is on a German car website and I think it's in a few mags as well.

We should setup a counter on the main page to how many times this is reposted. Or maybe make it a sticky.

Why do some people get so bl00dy upset when some poor sod happens to post something that they have already seen. Are these the same people that ring up TV stations and complain about something they HAD to watch last night?

Get over yourselves!!!

Because a simple search would have found that this same picture has been posted and discussed extensively.
Are you one of those people that likes to whine about people who hate seeing things over and over again? maybe you should take a look in the mirror and get over yourself...?

This is how the thread started from AC/DC

So Here is a photo that a lot of you have probably seen

But he made a good point - why doesnt he just sell the car

And there were some good points why he cant

Thats all he was after was a discussion

Just attach this thread to the other thread with the pic then bingo no more problem - NOT A BIG DEAL YA CRY BABY"S

First i've seen, heard or read about that one. Thanks for posting it AC/DC. I reckon i could attribute all the stickers on it to almost every BA series one that i've dealt with, there all the same. I should know, i own one, i work for ford and i've been there and done that.
