Has anyone purchased a short shifter from the uk and fitted it to the front of their gearbox on the pivot where the shifter cables clip to?
Trying to find out if they are the same gearboxes, the uk seller cant confirm. It basically fits onto the pivot point where the cable fixes to and changes the pivot point. Uk youtube videos look identical gearbox wise and im about 85% sure but confirmation would be good. cheers |

I know these cars arent anywhere near as popular as in the uk,after owning it for about a week im finding its a good little school drop off rig, gooes pretty well.
Hopefully someone has done the short shifter and says its all good,if not i may have to just risk it... Only thing wrong with it is that it could do with another 50 hp maybe like a xr4! |

Can confirm the short shifter fits and only takes 10 minutes to fit,no need to even jack the car up,feels great and for just over $100 id recommend it.
By far the biggest reduction in shift throw in the 4 or so short shifters ive fitted. |
