42c forecast for Adelaide Wednesday, so a couple of degrees warmer out here most likely.

Wow. Glad I’m not where you are. That’s about 22° over my ideal temperature.

Tale of mixed fortunes here. Three days over 36 deg last week, 30mm of rain to 9 am Sunday, another 38mm overnight last night (most of which fell in about an hour this morning), then they are forecasting a low intensity heatwave for later this week, followed by the chance of snow in the Alps this weekend!

I can't stand the inconsistency! Can't wait to move to Queensland.....

Well that was good timing, stepped off the train at Blacktown and it immediately started to rain, I though nah, its not going to bother me until it got progressive harder, then the hail started along with severe winds thunder and lightning.

Gave up and bolted back to the shopping area where the wind and rain was tearing into the shops and flooding several.

Train back and spotted a street full of poor commuters cars parked alongside the line at Homebush, water up to the window line.

Geeze what a trip.

Went up into the hills at 11am to fill up some stock troughs, lasted an hour before bailing the the AC. Went out with the daughter at 3pm, saw 46deg driving up the grove way towards golden grove, it was still 41deg when I went outside at 9:30pm.

My Daughter is, or was.
Her and her partner, their dog and their boat, moved out, headed south to Shark Bay, weren't going to risk it.
Just bought all new furniture too, so hopefully don't lose their roof. House is high on a hill so shouldn't flood, but if the power goes out, freezer full of fish.
Something tells me the power will definitely go out.
Nice smell to come home too.

About 15 deg over here in Hoppers Crossing with heavy showers at times, I'm enjoying the break from the heat atm while my lawns & gardens are getting a good soaking, since everything is starting to brown off.
Could do with more rain since the area has been experiencing such dry spell lately.
