welcome, I know enough that that is a big job for a car with so many k's on it. You might find that if you go through with the conversion that then the motor or some thing else could let go, you never know, spose got to add up all the time and money, good luck with it whatever you decide, cheers craig

hi everyone, have just joined the forum, a ford man all my life, I currently own a GT 335 2011 model and am hoping there will be another shape, and power upgrade, before ford closure in 2016. that will be a sad day indeed.

Hi Guys This is my first time on the site but not my first time with Ford. I have a very nice BA XR6T that I have been slowly fitting with the full option list from Ford.
I have recently got some adjustable pedals for it. Does anyone have any directions on how to fit them or know how difficult they are to fit? Have a great day. |

Hi there fellas
Nice to be part of a big family of Ford folk. Just purchased my first FPV and figured why not join the FPV club. Although I've always admired the FPV'S and never got one, I had to have one when the supercharged versions came out. It's nice to be on board. |

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster! Just (today) picked up an 04 RTV with 168,000 on the clock for the measly price of $4500! Stoked is an understatement!

Hi all,
Have just gotten myself an 08 FG XR6 N/A Auto. Upgraded from a Toyota Soarer which, although unreliable, was a beast of a machine. But need something more reliable and also family friendly. Car is stock as a rock at the moment, apart from the window tint I have gotten so far. Have a big list of things to do but all in good time. Found an awesome Soarer forum, so hopefully this one can be just as good for my XR. |

Howdy all. Name's Luke. Just swapped my clapped out Vt ss for a very tidy 6cyl NL Fairlane duel fuel auto. Has a few kms on it but I don't mind. I'm used to having to maintain older cars. Been looking round here for about a week now and have found some useful info.
Cheers and I hope I can contribute at some point. Luke. |

Sooo its been a while since ive been on here, no longer have the fairlane, Got my hands on a 93 EB XR6 5spd. similar kms to the old "slowlane" but a lot more get up n go and that awesome feel of knowing exactly what the car will do when that only comes with a manual transmission... In other news, my fiance and i will pick up our new pride and joy tomorrow. She is swapping her 2002 subaru forester 2.0L auto (slow as all *****) for a Red 2004 BA XR6 dual fuel auto ... So happy about this swap and we are finally getting into a really nice ford for a change... dont get me wrong i love my xr6 and the 'slowlane' was good fun but theres just something about the ba-bf series cars that i love... I think my fiance has joined up on here as MzJatz or something like that. anyways. I will be here more often now as now ive got 2 of these monsters to maintain cant wait |

Hi All,
New to the forums and loving it already! The information on here is fantastic to get to know my XR8 a lot better. Ive owned a couple of fast falcons over time favourite was def the FG F6, but nothing competes with the sound and feel of the BOSS V8! Look forward to being part of the Ford community. Cheers AU11 XR8 Rebel FG F6 310 BA MK11 XR8 no mods (yet) |

Gentlemen, Ladies and "others".
I've been reading all the vastly informative info here for some time. Thank you all for your input, it is very helpful. I owned a BA XR6 Turbo ute for a couple of years. I'm having withdrawal symptoms. I'd like to buy a Super Pursuit ute, definitely auto for my declining years. Does anyone know of one for sale at a reasonable price? I realise that price is usually decided by the kms and condition of the vehicle. I'm not concerned about high kms unless you guys think it's too high a risk. I guess diffs are still a problem, my turbo's diff was whining at 45000 kms. Any other issues I should be concerned about? Thanks in advance. |
