I take it this would be Micheal from the Sydney area? Have you fitted up the 4 speaker wiring yet?

Not yet, but it is safely stored away along with all the other goodies I have collected over the years...and we meet again.....let me know next time you are in Sydney will catch up for a beer or something....
By the look of your signature you have expanded your car collection since we last met

Um yeah I suppose I have. The XC was Micheal from Darwins car. The XB was too good to pass up even though its a six banger, The GT because well um we had to have one, and the LTD because the owner only wanted a grand for it. Still deciding what to do with it but has been handy to swap bits over from it to the XC when Ive been doing the engine bay.

Thanks, I can restore the dash facias in my spare time, but the parts are not cheap to do it, I did this one, but you got to have a good base to work with, the better the base the better the completed product.

added a bit of colour to one of my bonnets to see what it looks like with the white broken up a bit..
It's charcoal metallic, applied at 4am friday morning :hihi: bit of an overcast sky which hides the colour..

photo taken pre bonnet-catch fitment...

Paint the grille properly Greg. That lets the whole front down, looks terrible like that. The XA grille needs the argent in there to break up the black.

I've run out of steam Donny, it's been hard work to finish this thing and the thought of pulling the grill out, masking it, painting it, ugh...maybe next year after I'm done partying. I just want to drive it to be honest.

I know exactly how you feel Greg. Running out of steam. Definantly happened to me on mine too.

You have a spare grille for the car dont you?
why not whack that in and send your good one over to the fellas who did your car and get them to do it. Will cost a bit, but at least u dont have to do it.

I think I'd be stretching the friendship if they even saw it roll into the workshop.

Go the redneck coupes. Here's our girl all naked. I wouldn't have had the guts to drive it on the road like the fella above. but i did drive it around on the parents farm.
Would've made a great "mud slinger".

Don't worry - it was a country road and a dead end (my end) otherwise I wouldn't have done it.

I like to tell poeple it went so fast all the front panels and paint came off
