G'day ford wizards, new member here.
Just wanted to ask i have a BA wagon with 250ks and the front seats are buggered. Anyone knows what's the best seats to swap them with. Bought some fairmont ghia seats but got stuck with the electronic drivers side and couldn't figure out the wiring. Any recommendations. Thanks

You have the best seats in my opinion. You need to add only 2 to 3 connections to get them operational. I have them set up for both my RTVs. You should also provide an ignition feed to prevent the memory seat function from activating while driving.

Red face Re: Welcome to New Members - Post here to say gday!

Hi, thanks to admin for adding me to this forum. I'm in NZ and have a 2012 Ford Territory. Recently we noticed when we stop and reverse a horrible smell comes out of the air vents. Took out the cabin air filter and noticed rat or mice poo on the filter ! Yuk ! Put my hand in can't feel anything. Question is where are the air intakes etc for the cabin air flow? Hopefully won't have to dismantle whole dash but would be good to try and find the source. I guess eventually it will dry up haha !

Cabin air filter behind the glove box.

Open the box, pull the clip down (middle at the top) and the box will come down and can be removed from the hinges, pull out while its down from memory.

In front of the black box inside, slide the front rectangular panel to the left.

Pull out cabin filter. Search it for youtube, cleaned mine a week or two ago, google told me yours is the same

Hi. I'm David. I'm new here. I have a Territory sz. I've installed new rear coil springs 20mm higher. Have a wining noise in the rear & avibation after get the rear diff mounts replaced & a diff seal replaced. At first I was told that noise was from the neoprene bushers. So I had them replaced with original ford parts. Still getting the same noise & vibration getting worse. Then I was told from a mechanic that I need to replace the rear CV axles. Done that still the same noise & vibration. I had rear diff checked out at first & was told it was good. Has any one had the same problem & found the solution? Just private message me or call me on 0412077436 Sydney Australia.

Hi everyone, my names Chris
first time posting, I've been a member for a while now. I enjoy working on all old cars but mainly Fords. I'm working on an XY Sedan at the moment, some days are great. Other days it feels like I'm taking 2 steps backwards but that's the joys of building cars I guess

G’day everyone, I‘M returning to the tribe. I used to have an AU lpg Forte and followed Uncle Ken’s adventures religiously. Then got a green Barra BF, then fell off the wagon as I didn’t need a car.
But I just picked up an AU1 XR8. I’m so happy.

Hi all. Thanks for the add.
Newish to Fords, although had a liking for them since I was a kid.

I bought a 2017 Mustang about 2 years ago with Tickford rims, exhaust and coilovers new from the dealership. My new daily is a 2002 BA XR6.

And working for H*lden in their complaints department at Fishermans Bend also was a motivation.

Gidday.

Mark Molloy, (Central Coast NSW) here, new owner of 2013 SZ Titanium AWD Diesel.

I used to be a Holden devotee, but my bro (a Ford fanboy for many years) convinced me on the Territory. So far liking it, good power, good space and nice manners on the road.
I'll be keeping an eye on the forums as I gain knowledge on the vehicle.
Regards

Hi all,
Changing out spark plugs on SY Mk II territory, petrol 4spd auto.
Coil packs breaking (?) coming apart neatly at at exactly the same spot during removal.
Top half coming out with spring dangling from bottom, bottom tube section remaining in rocker cover.
Hints and advice please.
Tried finding post or thread with this situation but failed, I’m no tech head!

symk2

G,day and thanks for adding me to the forum. Have been a long time Ford fan and currently have an SY Territory which is a major reason for joining the forum as a lot of Territory owners will be able to relate to! I'm hoping to get a lot of tips and hopefully even add some. Cheers.

Gday, wife bought xm ute in 2014, finally on the road this week after full rebuild, pity rust protection wasn't high on the list in those days but now the finished ute is pretty special and cool to drive.

Jinxy, Hi mate, welcome to the F. Forums, I know you will get a lot of knowledge and experience to keep that Ford Territory humming. I'm an old codger with an AU2 and a G6E Eco-boost (best Falcon I have had and I'm on my seventh one now). Cheers and Happy motoring.

Hi all. I've joined to hopefully get my 2006 Territory Turbo back on the road after a coolant milkshake/transmission issue. The car has its quirks but is an absolute rocket!
My first car was an XP van, followed by XR station wagon, then an XC sedan.
Great site with fantastic tech info.
