Why don’t people find out about freight charges before they buy parts from uppertoombuk west?

Does anyone here (other that GasOlane) know how bloody far Mt Isa is from Canberra?

i did have a rough idea, but when you see that companies manage to send things for really cheap. Perfect example is the person i bought the brakes got an engine sent from Sydney to mount Isa for 80 bucks so figure there has to be a way it can be done. Thankfully there is a person on here who didn't have to but helped me out. And i am aware of the distance.

And also your saying if you could save a buck you wouldn't?

We’d all like save a few bob but the point I was making is a valid one.
Yeah, there are some companies that send things really cheap but there’s an old saying, you only get what you pay for, and those companies that work cheap usually don’t stay around for long because they go broke.

What do you do for a living? Would you like someone coming into your workplace asking you to work for next to nothing?

But do you give in to them, or do you tell them that this is the price, take it or leave it?

When you get into a taxi, do you tell the driver that I’ll give you $5 to take me to the airport or do you pay what’s on the meter at the end of the trip.
If you take the taxi that offers to do it for $5 and he leaves your bags on the footpath and gets you to the airport late missing your flight, do you blame him or yourself?

How did this thread go from a question about getting something shipped to pointless bickering about pricing?
