Could be an offset issue, B2TF, sitting a little further out than normal 18s when bought for the proper offset for the standard issue Foci.

mmm, a shame cos they are a great looking rim. A little expensive anyway though.

only 19's??? I'll post some pics of my titanium grey zetec with 20's soon, also as far as the zetec headlights go they stuffed up with mine and i got the normal ones, i agree with parasite tho i parked mine next to another with the proper zetec headlights and i think i like mine better, plus it matches the massive amounts of chrome lol

Hmmmmmmmmm, still odd that it doesnt have the Zetec Headlights. A very strange fault in the manufacturing and pre delivery check!

I asked the guys at the dealership i got it from and they said they're happy to swap the lights and they have also seen it happen on another titanium grey zetec so it's just a quality control issue (bloody sth africa lol) I'm about to order some king spring superlows to drop it around 45- 60mm so it'll look a bit nicer, when that's done i'll clean it up and get some good photos instead of just taking one with my phone in the work carpark coz i could lol. Any suggestions of any other mods i should do?

There wouldn't be a check for dark headlights on a Focus Zetec and I would never expect it to be picked up in predelivery, at least not unless there's a dead set enthusiast there, especially when the model is knew and fairly unknown. Manufacturing is a different thing but even then it's at least credibly possible and not a crime to humanity. Still not good enough though. Get the dark ones claimed through warranty, won't be a drama at all for the Dealer.

Just out of curiosity, is the optional bodykit on the base models the same as the zetec kit??

Yeah I'll get that done on tuesday actually, I've also got a problem shifting into both second and third so i'll get them to check that out too, I might also order the king springs i've been looking at and get my brother (he works at the dealership) to put them in while it's in there

Personally, I wouldn't bother...the lighter coloured ones look much better on your car IMO

Obviously I am in the minority here though

I reckon you could be. I personally think the dark surround headlights are much nicer (even on the darker coloured cars), in the same way that the ST170 headlights looked appreciably better than the standard focus ones on the LR models. In fact, I'll be asking Ford they can put the Zetec headlights on my XR5 when it arrives, if not, I'll get the black headlight casing from European parts.

SO, your saying if an LX had a Zetec badge, and thats it... they wouldnt pick the difference? WOW

Sorry - just being an ***

AWESOME!!!!! Today, on the way back from Nelsons Bay, i saw a LS Focus LX Sedan in Silver, with QLD plates. The thing that blew me away was that it had a bodykit (i guess factory), Zetec wheels and a rear wing (subtle)... It was loaded with luggage i guess, so it was quite low too! Stood out from a distance! Looked great.
Anyone from here?

I firstly need to find out if they are compatible with the XR5 (can’t see why they wouldn’t be) and then I’m gonna ask the dealer if they would be prepared to 'swap' the headlights for some Zetec ones when the car arrives. If they won’t do it, I may consider parting with a few hundred dollars if you’re gonna sell yours. I’m in no real hurry though, because the car won’t arrive until June anyway.
