Add to that the XR5 turbo mondeo. In RWD guise i reckon that'd be sweet.

Yes I drove a ST220 here and it was a total sleeper, I always wanted one of those ST24's to turn into a BTTC rep.

front wheel drive = slap it in reverse and floor it!
reverse donuts were the source of much hilarity amongst my group of mates, when small front wheel drive cars became popular in the 80s/90s

Rover 75 / MGZT

(oh: they did do a little redemption before the end... it became both RWD and FWD...)

2010 Ford Focus RS could have been amazing as RWD or AWD.
Honda Civic Type R... Or anything over 250hp IMO is wated driving the fronts only

Yes definitely the 3.5 l Magna, drove one for 12 years. Recall one trip from Qld towing a loaded trailer, pulled out to pass (whatever ) near Caiguna in WA and spun the front wheels in top gear. Admittedly the road surface was particularly smooth and it had been raining.

Mini is the epitome of FWD, handbrake turns whilst racing etc
Oops. Yeah, I got that one wrong. Don't know why I thought the Mini was RWD. Still, would love a RWD mini though. My car torque steers a bit even with the tiny motor.

A Mazda 3 with a combination of the MX5 RWD platform. I'd like some more room up front to stretch out in the front seat.

Even though it was not to Australia's liking the ZB Commodore, maybe Holden may have stayed around a bit longer if it was RWD :(

Front wheel drive cars have their place, but it was way more fun when all the little cars were rear wheel drive, they just have a good feel when driven , I remember the first time I drove a FWD car it was a EXA Turbo, that thing steered itself you just made corrections to keep it straight
