They can't do anything more as per the advertising guidlines. Remember the ad with the BA XR8 ute on the Salt flat? That was banned because it apparently encouraged bad driving practices

Well, according to advertisers and demographers alike, Newcastle is often the test bed and a fair representation of market conditions across Australia. During the telecast, and I watched all 9-10hrs of it this weekend, I didn't see one FPV advert.

Its a real indication of what it actually sounds like, not just a sound file dubbed over the top to make it sound better than what it is.

I had a good listen to one a few days ago leaving PD and being given a bit of stick going up the exit ramp, it was vixen, and being a company car it very well may have been the same one from the ad. Sounds good for a stock exhaust.

Did you hear what Moffat had to say. Most powerful FPV V8 ever offered......

Like most advertising these days...the message is subdued and subliminal....you either get it or you don't.

To me......it basically said....... This is the most powerful 4 door factory V8 ever offered in Australia. We would like to show you how this thing will do a 800m skid......pull of a 12 second 1/4 mile pass....overtake a roll on HSV from standstill......but we're not allowed..........so how about you listen to that sweet rumble for a couple of seconds whilst one of the greatest ever FORD Australian racing drivers TELLS you that this car will wipe the floor with almost any other car you care to compare it to...........

Sure it isn't blatantly obvious to every Jo Bloe out there......but then again........the car isn't aimed at every Jo Bloe. Most well versed FPV and HSV owners out there will understand the tongue in cheek commentary and enjoy the narrative from the MOFF and the exhaust in the ad.

If that car was doing 60kph you would find the vehicle on the roof as the top part of that ring actually needs a fair bit of speed.

ok i will agree that it's the best add theyv'e come up with over fingers walking over the horizon , and cg cars going through the desert.
i may be slow , but all i got from the add , was wanna here how a GT SOUNDS ? , A bit of interior features and cars specifications would've been nice and added to the sound as well .
if restrictions means cars arent allowed to be driven fast on a test loop, or stated about performance , then i dont think any add suits me .
