Ok seeing as we're talking combos, I have a fresh 351 w dyno runs only in a brand new built xr, everything is new, tank lines pump and carby, what's best, it made just under 500hp? On united 100? If I run 98 premium will I need to look at my jets sizes and timing? Oh and I have just over 11:1 comp,

if it has been optimized for the 100 then yes you will have to change things for the 98

I got 8mpg from my Mopar 500 stroker on United 100 octane and i get 12mpg on BP Ultimate or Vortex 98, couldn't notice any difference other than that. I will try the 100 again soon, seeing as i have a larger primary carb and an afr gauge in the car now. I do think the ethanol fuels will work better in a computer controlled injected or turbo car, or if your entire fuel system is built for it and you don't need something that resembles "economy" especially if your nearest drag strips are either 2.5 hours or 5 hours away.
