I gotta buy the game first.

Oh ... and there is that constraint called time ... I never have any spare time to sit down and even turn the TV on ... let alone turn the PS on at all.

Done about 30% and I realised "wait, I've played this 3 times already"

Same game, different cars and tracks.

The same was also said about getting a PC to emulate an Amiga 500 because of the complexity of the custom chips, now some people prefer to use WinUAE or some other variant of UAE rather then their real Amiga hardware, because it's FASTER then their real Amiga hardware, and any Amiga model can be emulated with a very high compatibility rate.

There are already several emulators being developed to emulate the PS2 (one of them being http://www.pcsx2.net/ ), so it's only a matter of time until one becomes available that is capable of playing most or even all commercial games.

Sorry, emulation is one of my more geeky interests... I know, I know, I'll f*ck off now... :

Juiced is like the new nfs games, full of ИИИИ cars and stupid controls. Are there any 60's, 70's, 80's aussie cars in GT4? I got about 65% and my memory card got 'corrupted' then my controller was 'violently smashed'.

The closest thing I found that came to a old Aussie car was the Lotus Carlton which resembles a VN.

I'm not even at 20% yet, have done a few missions, and am half way through the S Licence. Only really get to play on the weekend. I'm a big fan of the N-ring, so I spend a bit of time driving round their. Also like the rally driving. Anyone tried WRC Evolved?

I am around the 65% mark at the moment ... but haven't turn the PS2 on in months though ... I want to get back to it and play it a bit more.

Might check out the B-Spec modes now ... have been playing A-spec for ages now ... time for a change I guess.

i play this game all the time in my spare time, well actually its the only game i play on ps2 next to world rally championship 3 and 4 ( i got them both at the same time thats why im playing both ), in GT4 im always at the nurberging with my Typhoon F6, i was at 95% last year untill the save got currupted!!!!!!!!!!, so i had to start from scratch and im about 76% now,im really just playing around then progressing, different settings on all the FPV cars i own lol ( around 20 )

I have Juiced haven't really played it much (got too many games lol), but its ok i guess, its a bit ****y american homeboy stuff. But I think i had an BA xr8 in it so i'll forgive it.

Forza is a very good game IMO, but it got too hard for me lol, I get bored if I'm not getting new cars fast enough! Forza and V8 supercars 2 are my fav XBOX games so far.

Yep Juiced has the XR8 and Monaro.

I had a Orange XR8 Turbo and it always broke traction, actually all RWDs on that game did.

My original copy of GT4 stopped working for some strange reason a few months ago, so I bought an "alternate" copy of GT4 which ended up being the american version, so I now i need another copy and I gotta make sure it's european. Last time I ever buy a original game ever again!

nah i decided to wait for the full version. i didnt even play prologue. ufortunatly it took me about 3months be completly over GT, so i should have bought prologue as it was cheaper wasnt it?

although i was over gt4 by the end of the 3rd month, i actually bought two copies... my dog destroyed the first one a month into playing it.

i was actually looking forward to V8S3 but ive heard is a bigger version of 2 with similar graphics and a few little changes. i dont think ill bother with it.

Yes it was cheaper but it had only 1/4 of what the cars are in GT4 and you could'nt modify them.

The good thing is if you done the licence tests on Prolouge on GT4 when you first start, you can copy over the data and get the A and B Licences before you even buy a car.

Stuff graphics. Is it realistic? I don't want any of this sub 2 minute Bathurst times rubbish. Or flying through the air across the top of the mountain. Is the damage model at least realistic now?

Agreed, the last 2 versions of Race driver have been shocking!

I'm up to the point in GT4 where the races have such specific requirements it just annoys me and isn't fun.
