A BA XR6T with 8k spent on it will beat a Ferrari 355.
With 15k spent it will dispose of a Enzo with ease.

Yes, but apparently it is impossible to beat a Ferrari, sigh. Even though I kept reiterating "over the 1/4 mile," "in a straight line" etc. Bah!

Scrotary's ROFL! I laugh everytime :P

I've only been to the drags in my old VS Berlina V6 auto. I didn't have too many wins though.

I beat a ED XR6
EA 5 speed with XR6 engine (He must of stuffed the launch)

I can't remember if there was anyone else

hi guys i am new to this forum and came across the comment about he ferrari 355

I own a 1995 F355 GTS and i ran it at calder park on Friday 1/04/2005 with a best time of 13.447 @ 105 mph
No its not hard to beat ferrari 355 down the 1/4 with about 8k under the hood of a BA turbo.

The ferrari is about track cornering and top end. 105 mph through the traps indicates a quicker ET then 13.447 however i doubt my perticular ferrari will go faster then 13.2 with a perfect launch (i am new to the car and such am not the best driver of it yet hehe ). I have seen other 355's do 13.010 but it all depends on the car, some cars are just faster then other when they come out of the factory.

Also the ferrari is 3.5 ltr Naturaly aspirated V8 compred to the 4 ltr Turbo charged ford

However the "NIZPRO" twin turbo 355 spyder ran 11.2 @ 128mph on October 22nd, 2004 at calder park...u can look it up if u dont believe it.

The 360 Modena however is a faster car they will run easy mid to high 12's so u need to spend some extra cash under your hood on a BA xr6 turbo if u want to smoke one.

However then net turnover of cash the XR6 turbo is a beast of a car in bang for your buck and easy modified due to already having a turbo on it.

*edit*
as for an Enzo u better be able to do 10 second 1/4 miles with 15k of mods or u have no hope b/c thats how fast an enzo is.

Welcome matey, feel free to post pics of your beast.

A true sports car will have many advantages over a turbo taxi but it's all in good fun - nice to know that it's possible to go fast on virtually any budget. :

It is illegal. And if 2 of you are doing it, it is consided as drag racing even if you don't go over the limit...
