Anything Daewoo - Nubira, Lacetti - need more be said.

Ssanyong is also right up there in the stupid names department.

Hyundai - Tacuma, Getz etc etc.

Proton - Waja, a couple more I cant remember.

Oh and btw - Maloo is the Aboriginal word for "Storm". Thats where HSV pinched it from.

Was never a fan of the name 'fairlady' Nissan/Datsun depending on year? I don't think I'd want to drive a car called a fairlady.

There's also a Satria (from memory) called the Son of A Gun model.

Oh and who can forget Starion and the story how the asians were trying to copy masculine names like mustang so they chose another horse name "stallion" but due to the way it was spoken it came out as starion - so the story goes.

The Tiida name definately stinks.

Oh and what about the Festiva Demon model....hardly demonic in a gutless 4cyl....

I just read through the thread and the couple that are missing and I can't believe have not yet been stated are:

Proton Persona Sounds like a deodarant
Chrysler Neon viper. The neon is not too bad but to pair the name up with The "viper" that Chrysler also happen to make is just not gunna fly.

Err.... no, it's not exactly masculine or tough sounding! Luckily the thing has a few other official names I can choose from, and good thing Nissan Australia renamed it when it came here. :monkes:

Oh and another one for the list, Subaru Leone! :
