Mate, I admire your move on approach. On Sat evening I was cruisin in the R33 in a residential street when a small kid threw a stick at the car as I was in motion. On went the brakes. Uee and I chased the kid to his house just to his house. His parents came out, by that time I was furious, ready to knock his head off. However I explained the situation to his parents and mate, did he get the living day lights belted out of him.

Luckily no mark on the car, otherwise I would have come back to belt him some more.

How bigga town you in mate. I'd track down who ever done this some how. There is always a way. Ask around. I wouldn't let them get away with it if i were you. No matter how long it took. There is nothing that ****es me off more than scum ripping you off or damaging your hard earned property. out: I know my mates feel the same and would help me kick some **** in a back street or alley where no one else would see it. I'd only take it so far though, just give em something to think about and scare the crap outta them. Really sorry to hear mate. Looks like a awsome car mate. I realise theres probably nothing you can do, just get it fixed and never leave it where you can't see it i suppose. Thats what i do, ive learnt to trust nobody. Its sad but thats the way it is now.

Like XYGTHO said, maybe if you are in the local pub witha fewmates you could start a small conversation with them and say something like.... " gee did ya see that falcon the other night that got the boot and bonnet kicked in? (laugh) then say I would love to know who did that .. really funny"?

See, the IDIOTS who did that will WANT people to know it was them. Then when ya find out who it is, ya tie them up naked in a well know gay area and leave em for the night

I asked around a couple of mates (who i thought would know as they have seen the guys doing this before, on glenferrie road to car after car running up the st, and have a fair idea of who they are). They have not heard anything about it (they usually do through friends/pub talk etc), but i think it would be worthy at least notifying the cops as i think this is an ongoing issue, and every bit of info counts.

I will keep an ear out at the pubs there as i'm there at a minimum one in three days of the week, if not more.

ffffffaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrkkkkkk Kaddis,
When your nic on MSN said you needed a new bootlid, I thought it was something else...maybe you ran into someything revercing up your driveway (been there, done that), but I never expected this!
Sure, I used to bonnet jump cars...but cars that were sitting on farms for 10years+ and that were burned!...Not a FREAKIN XR6 with Chromies!
Jesus!
If you find em, let me know, as I will wanna come down to pay em a visit with you...same thing happend to my car once...but lukily I had NO DENTS whatso ever...just heard the alarm go off and found footprints on my roof.
Also,
My cars ALWAYS get badged...every single car I had...my VL, VN, Cortina, EB..havent had the 351 badged, but I can already see its a target as it has: '351' badges on each guard!
Sorry to hear dude!
