if you throw together an article on detailing, i'd then be interested in a lot of stuff, but at the moment, what you have listed up there makes little to no sense to me at all, nor would I have any idea on how to use half the stuff lol.

The first kit is a scratch proof way of washing & drying your car
Drying time will be reduced and the drying towels won't leave cloth marks or streaks like some chamois do.
The whole kit will, if you follow the two bucket washing method, dramatically reduce or possibly eliminate surface marring, swirl marks and scratches which most commonly are caused by washing

First box of stock has arrived today and now only waiting on the drying towels
Already got a couple clay bars in stock with more to come each week
Once the box of oxidation remover/hand glaze arrives I will stock up on kit 2 and have those available

Will also be introducing my own line of products which have come from my constant experimentation and experience
The first is liquid glass polish. In the time it takes to use a spray glass cleaner, the glass is polished with no dust/mess and will not damage vinyl

Sure no problem. Just send a money order or cheque and as soon as it arrives, I'll send it out to you.
Postage shouldn't be much

PM me with your full name and postal address
Only have blue bars in stock at the moment though but that will change quickly
Blue should be fine though, it's only white cars that need red ones

Matt, if your own car is anything to go by, your products really work. I wish my car looked half as good as yours. After seeing how well you cleaned my rubber window moulds at AFD, I'm sold. Let us know when they are for sale and I will get a pack.

Sure no worries mate. The first product in kit #2 which you will need for moulds will be here within 2-4 weeks
Have had to use ground mail to keep prices down for my customers
Once that arrives, hopefully my kits will be selling well and I will get all the other products required in and kit 2 will be available

Have also become the distributor for two more brands
It will be a slow building process this year, so many brands of products to get but such little capital for a one man band business. Next week's availability of kit #1 will get the ball rolling and by the end of the year I should have a great range of products available as well as those kits.

Hey SVR73, sorry don't know your name e , As you prob. gather I'm def. going to buy your kits but I need one thing done first. Is it possible to bring my car to your shop because there's some swirl marks I just can't get rid of. Being black EVERYTHING shows up and I'm too scared to use a buffer in fear I'll cut to far, I'd rather a pro do it.
After that I'll follow all your steps and directions to minimise swirls.
Appreciate

Sounds OK. Actually I do detailing from home as cost for shop ATM is beyond my budget
I would be glad to help you out regarding your swirls
If possible I will do it by hand, as buffers I prefer to use only if absolutely necessary
It takes 3-5 passes with different levels of swirl mark remover to get most swirls out
To remove all swirls takes quite a bit of product.
Will start with SSR 2.5 - 3 and move down to SSR 1, then Menz FP , a solvent and VOC free polishes
After that I can either put on some layers of paint sealant or leave it at that and let you take care of it.

COBRA - your car can be as good as mine or even better depending on how it was treated by the previous owner. If he cut and polished it too much, then the amount of paint to work with may be very minimal or not enough
Just needs the right products and plenty of tender loving care
Really recommend you clay the paint to remove contaminants as it felt really gritty at AFD which suggests lots of fallout and other enviromental contamination

Once that is done, probably a 1500 - 1000 grit cutting compound, swirl mark removal with SSR 3, 2.5, 2.0 and 1, then a voc and solvent free polish, AIO then vanilla moose (stuff I used to remove that crap from your moulds) and finally coats of paint protection

Lots of steps you may think and your probably right but that's what it takes to get a show car finish.

Professor, matty is what I prefer

Kit 2 won't be too far away.

Down the track I hope to have my very own product line available
There are a few in development or testing but so far it's looking good
They are being developed to be really user friendly and take no time at all

TESTING
Creme Afterwash lotion

A really fast detail spray with the consistency of a milkshake which contains a small amount of two super polymer sealants.
It tops up the protectants on the paint and creates a super slick reflective finish
On most panels, two to four wipes with an ultra MF wash mitt will do the job. Impossible to streak

Paint Decontamination lube
A long lasting clay lube that will not dry up while your claying like some quick detail sprays and 50/50 alcohol and water.
Removes minor water spots, deep cleans and slickens the paint finish and is a breeze to wipe off.

Four in 1 Vinyl, Plastic and Leather sealant
Instantly removes oxidation, water spots, sunburn and other damage from exterior trim/moulds then restores, enhances and protects them plus car interior vinyl and leather surfaces

DEVELOPMENT

Full metal jacket
Combines ceramic, acrylic monomer, acrylic polymer and super polymer sealants together to creat the ultimate long life sealant and leaves no residue.

Top Class Instant final polish
A liquid spray type cleaner polish that is non abrasive and is the final preparation step prior to sealing and waxing the paint
Can be used on a variety of surfaces

Top Class sealant spritz
A liquid spray type paint sealant which saves time and ensures thin even surface coverage

Hey matty,

I'm very interested in your kit #1 and some of your methods - having bought my car 3 months ago I haven't yet properly washed and polished/waxed it. I don't have much of a clue about detailing. Next time the SA boys get together I might tag along and see if i can meet up with you and purchase some of your products.

Cheers mate

Hey matty,

I'm very interested in your kit #1 and some of your methods - having bought my car 3 months ago I haven't yet properly washed and polished/waxed it. I don't have much of a clue about detailing. Next time the SA boys get together I might tag along and see if i can meet up with you and purchase some of your products.

Cheers mate

Sure come see me when we meet up for the gawler cruise and I'll show you what I use and have available

Will have plenty of kits on hand on the day
More than happy to give you some handy hints, tips and proper application methods of detailing etc

Here are a few pics of the products I'll have for sale in a few months

Matty,

Do you have anything that will remove bug guts ........ Im not talking the normal soft products ..... Im talking locust plague over a period of 2 or 3 yrs that I cannot remove by hand with anything I have tried.

The paint on my wagon isnt the best but I can get a nice look when shes washed (and still wet :P ) ..... These bug guts make her look more unwashed than she really is ......

Any suggestions ?????
