I seriously wish you would bugger off to another site.

The stripes are optionnal, and im sure if you dont want the rear wing then thats easy too.

But one thing that could possibly be taken from your rambling is a model/option for a slicker looking "managers" styling kit.

And if you think HSV's are not race-boi material then pass da weeeed!

I had the displeasure of driving a VZ Clubby R8 a few months back, its almost exactly the same as the senator except for the type of crappy plastic inserts I presume, it was poo, and that interior is how old now? Nice engine and thats about it.

Oh and the green lighting everywhere..WTF is that?? Reminds me a a poxy digital watch I had in the late 80's! :lookedat:

I don't know what your problem is. I am a Ford man but not blinded, sorry for not bowing down and worshipping the ground Ford rolls on.

I simply stated my opinion (if that is not allowed then I await the PM from th authorities, until then put up with it :the_finge) on the GT, compared to the others it looks cheap and nasty. It looks like a fan boi racer I am sure it handles nice like all the other Fords.

Easy on the eyes.
And that interior is about as old as the BA;).
What plastic inserts are you talking about?

My brother had a EF and come on now you really need to slap yourself around if you believe what you just said. :
What was the colour of the ED cause the EF was all orange.
Didn't you know they change colours? the TX Territory's lights up orange also nothing to be overall happy about. You know what they say about green. Blue or green should never be seen unless before the queen.

I know mate, i wasn't specifically saying blue about my ED. mine is orange and i dont' like it either. But i'm talking about the senator interior versus the GT interior. Green reminds me off the screens back in the day that could only output one colour...i just think it looks cheap and nasty.

And as for EF's, i thought they had white colour dials?

Ergh, Whats so great about the Holden Interior, theres too many little screens and too many buttons, Holdens thinking is that if we put as many little green screens and buttons on the dash everyones going to think its an advanced car, more so in the LWB versions. Fords ICC is world class, only to be matched by BMW and Mercedes if you ask me.

Not to mention the fact that most of the door skins and dash were created 10 years ago for the VT :(

39 posts and no mention of times?

Was this a real comparison or a toy one?

Sounds like Motor are up to their usual standard of being consistently inconsistent!

If you had a bloody clue oldbiasedone you would know what them screens do!
Don't hold back with your comparison there thats a bold statement.
Here another one, Holden engineering is world class and is only matched by Bugatti :P:P

Think about this, How many Holden people out there are going to come back to haunt you, When the VE is out and 2 years away from a new Falcon you just know they are going to remember all the crap they copped from people like you reminding them off what came off the VT and was on the VZ, they will get some back trust me, When them door skins from the AU turn 10 people wont be smiling.
And it's 9 years since the VT or 8 if you think about it.

Haunt me? When the BA was 4 years ahead of the VY anyways? Alot of the Technology the BA / BF has the Holden will only just be getting in the VE, and some it still wont have.

Theres no doubt that the VE will hurt Ford, but guess what, Ford will hurt it to when it brings out its new model in 07..

:ticking:

As for the screens, i know what they do because i have actually driven a Clubsport R8, have you?

Ford has 3 screens with the same information, holden has 5, confused?

Upset no, fed up yes. All you do is slag off ford when there competitor is no better. Ok you have had some issue, whatever, but not everyone wants to hear your bitter remarks every thread.

Fords IP is great, but the door trims are horrible! Very cheap and thin and pooey plastic. What were they thinking when they designed those grab handles!

And I am certianly not blinded, quite the opposite.

Where did you hear that Holden's engineering was second to Bugatti?
I've never heard that, quite the opposite. Feel free to post a link.

As for the green "swamp thang" interior displays, you can keep it mate.

hsv's interia i wouldnt say its ugly at all it looks classy in a 90's model bmw. but it is just getting tired that they keep following the same designs ofthe past. im not byast but imo the fpv's look better not in a classy way but more comfortable.... i cant stand them being compared to taxis just because it is a theme that has been working for them

I have had the pleasure of drivin the SRT, The owner just upgraded from his cobra mustang (03 I think) Torque pull is awesome but the thing feels a bit like a 6 tonne boat still, compared to an xr8 or vy ss ( thats the only other things i have driven that i can compare it with). The 20's give it good steering response although they are a touch noisy i thought. The brakes are friggin awesome but I wasn't game enough to push it too hard even though the owner was tellin me too.
The interior on it is absolute rubbish The trim fit is pathetic and the dash squeeks I hate the interior but love the rest of the car. Not up to GTP standard, I don't think, but what can you expect from Americans????? I think the Americans are not as sensitive to interior fit up as we or the europeans are. Every Chrysler Ive dealt with lately (jeeps and neons and pt cruisers) Are just total junk I reckon. Except with this car is if you can see past the bloody Grill its actually not too bad.....

The 300c we get isn't built in the US. I think they're built in Austria or thereabouts.
