I'm going through a rock/heavy rock phase at the moment...

-Anything AC/DC
-Metallica (Enter Sandman is my fave)
-Some Offspring (Kids Aren't alright is my fave)
-Anything Guns & Roses
-Plus a mix CD (eg. black betty, eagle rock, kehsan etc),

Soft & slow just doesn't suit the 8 cylinder rumble

Depends on my mood ... got way too many to list.
But for a good highway cruise mix i mainly listen to:

Evanescence
Nickelback
Resident Evil - Apocalypse Soundtrack

But as 4.9 EF Futura said:
"If im "giving it a bit" the stereo is turned off."

Well I have to say there are some good choices here, but here are my personal favs;

#1 Guns and Roses - you could be mine
#2 Billy Idol - Speed
#3 Metallica - Ronnie
#4 Filter - the best things
#5 AC\DC - highway to Hell
#6 Megadeth - Peace Sell's but who's buying
#7 Rob Zombie - meet the Creeper
#8 Pantera - Domination
As you can see a very metal related theme to this thread.

I can't believe on Top Gear that guy liked the Bodyrocker's 'i like the way you move' song!! Like that isn't the ultimate ricer song... i can see it now, fluro green skylines with matching neons and fluffy dice, drifiting around winton with the body rockers blaring out there fully sik subwoofers

Oh btw, fav driving song for me... Nickleback, anything those guys bring out seems to be great

Always been a big fan of the extended version of Money for Nothing by Dire Straits at full volume on a great stereo........

Enter Sandman and the extended version of Red Hot Chili's Higher Ground is another. There are certainly some stand-out Road Trip songs, but all depends on the mood I guess......
