Thats true you dont need to.

But alot of people would like new stuff on their car, so atleast you know that you did it and its history, if that makes sense.

As for shocks, I guess that is personal too, but my fronts are knackered so there no point just doing one end.

You also forgot out labour, not everyone has the tools, patience and knowledge to do it.

Firstly, don't yet have the cash to spare :(
Secondly, cant yet be motivated to get it done,
And thirdly, need to get my interior finished

Handy though having it 4x4, cause you don't need to slow down for speed humps lol

well you don't need many tools at all and I think a monkey could change the springs in an e-series. I totally see you point, but I was just saying that it can be done cheap and not dodgy. Especially since half the people in this thread whinge about the 4wd spec e-series. If anyone in East burbs wants springs installed i'll do it for a slab.

I get asked that whether in the car or out of it (I'm 6"4' and as for my car, see below)

And I thought I'd also throw in my parent's car

Hahahah it's trick photography!

truth is the pole is ummm in the very foreground and is a piece of a wing chime (didn't notice that til now)... and the car is actually sitting on about a 25 degree driveway. ;) They are 17" wheels!

It's still way high though... Sadly lowering it is low (hahahah punny) on the list of priorities (stupid *** battery died tonight not happy).

:P

Thats not high.

Mines got std snowflake 15's and I could fit another rim above them. Well maybe not quite. Given the driveways I go down, Im thinking of getting a lift kit.

since i put the el xr rims on, it looks as if the car was hightened, i think this is because of the lower profile of the tire.
