Cislin 10 2.5lt is the best stuff around if you ask me.
We sell it here for $110 for 2.5lt. Good stuff, I use it myself, and have never had an issue with the dogs.
Not too dangerous either, only a "Caution" on the label.
Most of the bug sprayers I know use it on some of their jobs. Does a good job, and is still relatively safe. Its also a residual, so instead of just providing a knock down, it hangs around and controls spiders for a period of time.

I don't know where you are located, but let me know, I might know of somewhere you can get some at a decent price.

Cheers

Huntsmans are my absolute worst nightmare.

When I see one, my body shuts down.
I get the sweats.
My legs don't work.
I get vomitty.
And will suffer nightmares because of it.

ALL from simply SEEING a huntsman.

I've even moved house because of them.

I pay top $$$ every 6 months to have my home sprayed top to bottom so I don't have to go through all the BS seeing one causes, and my GP has suggested Hypnotherapy to try and overcome it.

I have a great respect for them, but as long as they don't set foot inside, they're free to do as they wish.

I hate spiders. Creepy bloody things. Yet I don't have a problem with snakes, go figure.

MAJOR ARACNAPHOEBE HERE.... i kill any spider that i come across. regardless of size or poison. best method is the home made flame thrower i made from a bbq lighter and a can of ladies deodarant. hehehehe. i thnkk its the pulse one. mneh. anyway. i also use the cans of bagon with the yelow nozzle so i can get up close and minimise spray. they look like they have had a shower after im doen with them. best one was when the spider craweld through a puddle of spilt petrol on my drive way. hehehe i wonder what happend after that . opps i dropped my match. damn!!!

i say kill them if they agravate you. but dont go out killing them for the sake. except when they walk through petrol.

My yard is infested with spiders, I get bitten every week. They leave a itchy red rash about 1-2cm across, hopefully I become imune soon. Even when I am just working on my car, they run towards me. Even when they are inside, when I am spraying them, they dont run away, they try to attack. I thought my dog would get bitten, but they seem to only bite me There is less of them now, but it has taken 1 1/2 years of killing every one I see.

At least there is no mosquitoes!

I got stung by a scorpion once out bush near Sale, Vic. Little bugger was in my sleeping bag and I just jumped in without checking cause it was absolutely freezing. I definately wont be doing that again. He got me on the arm and the whole arm first when tingley(sp?) then numb and i suffered from really bad nausea and vomiting. Luckily there was a medic with us and I spent the next couple of days in the Med tent. The medic thought I may also have had some kind of reaction to the venom, all I know is that it hurt like hell and felt like crap.

If you dont kill them, they breed. Each one can have hundreds or thousands of baby spiders.

got bitten by a white tail, no treatment.. it would go away by itself the docs said... i have a scar still the same as it was 6 years ago - never found the spider though, scar is about as long as my pinky finger near my elbo, nothing special
count yourself lucky, I met a lady in St Vincents Hospital in Sydney about to have a Heart Transplant because of a White tail spider bite. It caused Necrosis of the Heart muscle. Some people will have no reaction and others will have problems like the flesh at the bit area will die and just continue to die..nasty.
As for getting rid of the little f%#@ers call your local pest dude, ours used a PYRETHRIN (not sure on spelling) its supposidly a natural substance that has little effect on dogs, We have 3 Mutts we had to take them out for the day whilst he spayed but then they were fine.

i cannot stand them

i was removing a tail light out of a ford territory this morning at work only to find a HUGE huntsman sitting there, googly eyed, eight legged..UUUGGGLLLYY thing....it caught the sharp end of my flat blage screw driver and squashed against the workshop floor

same thing with EF and EL falcons, spiders always seem to live against the chassis rails and rail ends, right where you have to put your hand up, where you cannot see, to remove the bumper bar bolts.....id rather be bitten by mosquitos all day long then have to deal with spiders

although i must say that usually its the little black ones you have to worrie about, not the big brown ones

i had my shirt hung up in my room, anyways i took it down and put one arm through, it was full of damn cobwebs, and at least 3 white tails, i havent got undressed that quickly since it was time for my 16th birthday present years ago...
But if i can get rid of the spider living behind my drivers side mirror that seems to make a new web every day i'll be a very happy man

I cant even put clothes on the line without them being covered in cobwebs, and have spiders hiding in them. It is sickening having spiders fall out your clothes when you put them on. Hence, I only use the clothes dryer...

Hmmmmmm , now how did that old song go .......
"She swallowed a spider to catch the fly , i dunno why she swallowed the fly , i guess she'll die " ,
ah thats it .....
"she swallowed a bird to catch the spider , that wriggled and jiggle and tickled inside her ..." bla bla bla

so in theory .... i guess you need some birds ..hehehe

lol , on a note too : The huntsman & wolfspiders are actually fun to play with, you can pick them up no worries , they aren't harmfull ! . Just dont stir them up to much or they will bite , and it does hurt a bit when they bite / if you have soft hands / if your a brickie by trade ( rock hard hands ) then you probably wont even feel the bite ..lol :evil_laug
