it would be a restriction on your intake, so it would detract from power actually, but that would also depend on how much flow your engine needed to achieve its peak power. So yes it might not stop you reaching peak power and might have a gnats private parts of gain at idle, but overall at the end of the day ..... "tell him his dreamin son".
