I'll tell you who is a boss and drives beautiful cars, the owner of Demir Leather.
If you go past the store in Auburnon on Parramatta Road, you'll see parked either; and F430, Murcieliago, AMG S55, BMW 765, Jag XK, DB9 etc. All of them have the number plates like DEMIRC, DEMIRD, DEMIREE, DEMIREF etc. What a collection.

I'm a boss and have an 05 BF LTD as a daily driver, a 2004 S500 as a weekend car and an old Navy Blue RR Silver Shadow II (the model Jeremy drove into a pool) as a bit of a project car/money hole. A friend who's a mechanic has offered to assist in pulling out the old 6.75 litre to put a Ford 351 into it, as parts on this thing are really expensive. The car needs the air conditioning retrofitted and have been quoted $7000.00, sort of putting me in the zone for an upgrade that will be less of a pain in the A and less expensive to maintain. I'm thinking maybe a 3V 5.4 and stock ford 4 speed auto will do the trick nicely. Actually, I'm thinking pretty much all of the mechanicals will go to ford, only problem is the stupid hydraulic pumps for the suspension rams. When I bought this thing in immaculate condition 7 years ago for $32000.00 I thought I got an absolute bargain. How wrong I was. Beautiful to look at but oh man, depressing at the same time. Any RR mechanics out there wanna make some extra weekend cash?

current boss is an automotive retard, spends the minimum possible on maintenance (doesnt listen to me even when he knows i'm right, so far its cost him $5k in the last 2 months because he's too damned stubborn to listen to me) and thinks his pajero is an all conquering 4x4 beast cos of its paris-dakar links..... personally i think he's a **** for brains that shouldnt be let anywhere near a billycart nevermind anything with an engine

When I first started work (very early 70's) the BIG boss owned 17 department stores , a warehouse near Liverpool & a workshop in Camperdown (for the delivery trucks) in NSW . He used to drive the mechanics crazy , always wanting the best they could get out of his car . He ONLY drove falcon GT's , a new one every year . The mechanics had to get "out of Sydney" to test the car , because " it must cruise to his farm in Orange at *** MPH ! ! "

This Elderly Gentleman was Sir Norman Nock (If anyone remembers Nock & Kirby's Dept. Stores) Best boss you could ever work for.
