Think your post sums it up best with drivers attitude these days, you have a combination of impatient & dawdlers in the mix which makes driving very unpleasant these days.
What I have noticed lately is the increased number of red-light runners in the mornings, with drivers going to work.

The Bosch battery which tested good and I put in my Cruze, has died in 36 hours. Looks like a shorted cell by its behaviour on charge.

My lithium jumper battery needs charging.

Due to a Karen issue then the fortnight of rain, I missed my usual round-robin six weekly charging of all the “kerbside classics” and the ones blocking others in, are both dead.

The tow pig is hooked to the trailer, it would be a right ballache to shift complete with car on trailer, and the new jockey wheel our halfwit installed is too big - you can’t drop the jockey and uncouple without a jack to assist.

So I’ve binned the afternoon plans and got two batteries charging.

Sounds like Murphy's law has given you a kick in the guts today, better luck next time.

Cheers.

Position partly recovered - managed to shunt enough juice into the faulty unit to get car started, put lithium jump battery on the dumb charger, smart charger on a lawn car and drove the Cruze straight to work - where I swapped out the bad battery.

Only problem thereafter was, the car we're hoping to hand back tomorrow still has a boost fault. Have ruled out fuelling, software, pedal sensors, EGR and DPF by extensive testing but it faults after getting up to temperature as tested this afternoon. Not happy about that!

I have to admit. I went from around 10 cars a few years ago, to a couple last year.
Felt like a huge weight off my shoulders.
