With garnish lights taped up and the black colour, could pass as a new audi from the rear.

Comparing those pics of the black sedan to the original Ford released gold coloured CGI, it appears that there will be two specs of XR8?

The gold car had side mirror indicators and graphite colour mirror scalps lacking on that black car. Or would that be a prototype thing?

So XR8's have the orange repeater in the vent? Not in the mirror?

You might want to check your order cause myself & FGX335 have already purchased "FGX335" & "FGX351" respectively.

Edit: just saw your next post with "302".

They could have put a Ford Falcon badge on an Aston Martin DB9 and there would be those that would still ***** about how it looked!

Wow that's mega cheap, FGX XR8 is like $2295 here in QLD.
That one is most likely to be sought after if anything.

I actually saw a Jag XF today but before I caught up to it I honestly thought I had a new Falcon in front of me and camera ready, but I quickly realised it was a Jag.

Liking the LED tail lights on the Jag though compared to the old incandescent FG-X. Hope to catch one soon for photos.

It's definitely a car that needs to be seen in the metal before judgement is passed. Can't see how some people can be so assured they don't like it without actually ever laying eyes on it for real.

Because they don't want to spend a cent actually advertising it

No way. More like SSV Redline pricing I think. Although it will hand even a Clubby it's own ***.

No that i'm aware of. Although luxury pack will more than likely be an option, but externally should be the same.

These early build prototypes aren't running production pieces. Hence why bonnet and bootlid are still covered cause they are rough.

I should also add that at the back of the XR8 bonnet bulge there is a plastic in-fill panel that blocks it off. But I think you could either remove it or cut it open to make a sweet reverse cowl.

Can't recall if the panel is at the back of the bonnet or the cowl though?

Excellent. The back of the FG bonnet bulge blinds me with sun glare at certain times of day. Ford engineers must have caught on to this

Personalized plates must have more of a following in Aus(I see many a Aussie addresses trying to on-sell PP here in NZ ) ..as I understand you can have the same plate in different states unlike here it's nationwide (of course the population would close the NZ vs State)

Currently I'm 50/50 on investing in a plate same $939 I can get "FGX" or "FGXXR8" $639 FGX315 or FGX302 etc ?

I'd just be stoked if it's worth 2-3k in a couple years time

found this on history of PP in NZ
