You know, I dont think that song is overly too bad. Reminds me of a funeral song though.

Yep the new R.H.C.P. song. Have you seen the film clip? It goes through different bands from Rammstein to Nirvana to David Bowie.

"You can dance if you want to."

Assholes at work are responsible for that. One of the boys (Sean) bought one of the trucks from the boss and is now subcontracting for the company. Sean took the truck home the other night and scrubbed the bejesus out of it, fixed up the door trim that had become fairly tired and took the radio out so he could stick a cd player in, but the cd player he had was 12 volt, not 24, so it wouldn't work. So we had no radio on monday and on the drive home from Barwon Heads to Dandy South, the three of us (Sean, Dougie and myself) were singing really annoying songs and just being generally dumb. That one came up (The Safety Dance by Men Without Hats) and it got stuck in my head. As soon as the rest of the boys at work found out (I sent an abusive message to Dougie blaming him entirely for the whole ordeal), that's all they'd sing as soon as I went near them.

Now, it's been stuck in my head all freakin' week and it's damn near sending me insane.

Agreed. Had this popping in and out of my head between bursts of "The Safety Dance"

Hey, steady on! Back in the day, I organised and gave a presentation in what I think (from memory) was year 10 at high school in geography that was based almost entirely on Pingu, and even showed a full Pingu episode (full episode being about five minutes long, mind you) in a "class divided into four groups and pitted against each other in a battle of debating surpemacy" type assignment. There was a group of about seven or eight of us, but a mate and I set the whole thing up on the basis that if we did all the work, we could do it however we wanted. The group agreed and Pingu it was. We won, too. Nobody could believe it.

Pingu's where all the action is.

"Meh moo!"

UPDATE!

My Mental Jukebox finally rejected Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss.

Now I'm in my hotel room in New Zealand and what's playing on the radio?

I woke up with your name on my lips,
I woke up with your lips on my imagination!

I woke up with my name on your lips,
I woke up with your lips on my imagination.
Did you wake up with my name on your lips,
Or am I all alone in this infatuation?
Uh-huh, oh yeah, hey, hey, hey!

Jackie when you’re touching my soul in the candle light,
Jackie when I lost control in the heat of the night.
Jack, Jack, Jackie. Can’t get you off my mind.

I woke up thinking it was you, that I was all alone, alone with you,
Did the same thing happen to you?
If you don’t feel what I feel, I don’t know what I’ll do.
Uh-huh, oh yeah, hey, hey, hey!

Chorus

I didn’t know that love could feel this way,
I never let anyone inside.
I pushed and I shoved, I fought back the love,
But with Jackie I've got nothing to hide.
Uh-huh, oh yeah, hey, hey, hey!

NOOOOOO!!!!!! MAKE IT STOP!!

Mental Mike
