Yeah, again it was very well done to keep everyone together, made it more of a club cruise instead of a car here and a car there cruise!

The Idea was to have a cruise with everyone together .... It seemed to work very well , and with jason being at the rear then it worked out good
and if next time we could get more people to bring UHF s then it will make is easier again

I like to make sure no one gets lost, and I usually have tools in my boot to assist if anyone broke down.

I think we need to look at possibly arranging a group buy of UHF's to try get prices down for everyone.

Think I might get a real UHF radio setup with the big arial and everything.

Just goes to show how useful they can be for organising a cruise when used.

I was also thinking of maybe a low powered FM transmiter that could then broadcast to those tuned in, that way everyone stays in the loop regardless of having a UHF or not.

what do you guys use to resize your photos?
i know of a program which does them all in 1 go so you dont need to use photoshop to do them 1 at a time if thats how you were doing it...
the only problem is i forgot the name of it LOL.

Awesome find Bentles, I use MS Paint to resize them to 20% of original size one by one....

I'll give this one a go in future.

This works well right click and choose the options (VISTA mainly)
VSO

In XP just download the powertoy for image resizing.
Microsoft XP Power Toys

Even with 15 odd cars, between the traffic lights etc, we could have easily still had a problem of broken groups of people, but we stayed in touch on the UHF and kept the group together is what made the difference.

We went the back way to Apollo Bay then along the GOR on the way home which personally I liked as you got an exciting drive home.

Last GOR I went to we went along the GOR to Apollo Bay and then along the back roads to home.

Everyone went to Apollo bay, then a group left to go do photos, and the others stayed and chatted then headed home.

We went the back way via colac pretty much, was a very nice easy cruise with open road and no traffic, picked up the GOR enjoyed some twisty stuff then arrived at Apollo Bay.

The way back was open to people to decide, I took the GOR the whole way home was a pretty clear run as well.

Yeah thats about right, I resize them in MS Paint to 20% of original size, which brings the file size down to around 100kb.

The 75 pics that I have posted comes up to about 8mb.

Looks like you guys had fun. I notice some of the cars still have the E-Series Owners Club stickers on them. Any reason for that? Didnt think those cars would be welcome.
From what I've been told, Sundays group had a good run too with around 30 cars in attendance.
