I love the new terrys setup!
Commodores have the twin also on even the SV6 but the fords ( minus FPV's ) always have a bloody single *SIGH |

I had a thought today about this. Any link between having the exhaust on one side of the car and the filler on the side because of petrol spills is only a secondary consequence. IMO if that is a true link, its because of the undercar packaging, where the exhaust cant be too close to the fuel tank and thus the fuel tank is moved to one side of the car to allow the exhaust on the other. The filler cap then will be on the closest side to the tank.
