[QUOTE=mrcrackers]1) it wasn't 'stupid', it was an accident. Comments like that are ridiculous, but predictable from you ;p
2) the cruise wasn't unorganised, i made the map and directions as detailed as possible..

Thanks again for the attendence guys, glad people had a good time. p.s. what happened to the blue sapphire wagon after the maroondah reservoir ?

sorry guys, i had to duck off to get home to put an engine in my bike, i told a few guys i was talking to as i don't know most of you yet, so for that i apologise. anyway was great to meet most of you and thanks for a great afternoon, can't wait for the next one (promisise i'll stay till the end..lol.).

Looks like it was a great cruise! I had a birthday party to attend so i wasn't able to make it. Shame about the incident, but $h!t happens i suppose, has happened before and will inevitably happen again. Hope the EA recovers Dezz, would be a shame to have it written off so close to losing the trademark ride height :P.

Looks like it was a great day to run the spur! Pitty i missed it, had other things on. Dezza n Adz, hope you guys get your cars spruced up again. I must say though, we do all cruise in a tied bunch sometimes...it gets a bit close, but atleast any lil cruise dings are a rarity in our club

Thanks Matt. I'll probably do a wreckers job on the bonnet and bumper, and hope I can bash the front rail back into shape

LOL. Pat, I'm thinking about fixing it, so the quote would be great. If it's too much, then I'll cash the rego and tub the ******

Thanks Steve. I'll get some quotes for the radiator support, and hopefully in the future it will be in near new condition, with decent ride height!

Wayne, thankfully the damage to Adz's car seems minor, so I'm just anxiously waiting for the quotes. I've got 3rd party, but by looking at it, it would probably end up cheaper to just pay cash, rather than getting an $850 excess.

Good pics everyone

Off topic but I've decided the EA will keep going for a while yet. Jason (EA2BA) came over and we took the bumper and lights out. We refitted the lights (as the left one was on a huge angle) and bent the bonnet a bit more so that it sits flush again (it surprisingly doesn't look dodgy). I'll get a new bumper tomorrow, as it's currently hektic VL style with the numberplate on the dashboard, and it should look the same as what it did before. One day I might get the front redone properly, or alternatively I might buy a later model e-series and transfer the Ghia stuff across. My latest pic

how is that VL Style, oh wait it looks stupid ? I never see VL's missing there front bumper bars. Why bother getting a new bumper, it didn't look any worse than most of the EA's getting around these days.

The mounts are stuffed and it has a gaping hole in it.
