My mums neighbor (well the person with the garage in the basment of her block next to hers) has 2 cars. Ones a newish amg. The other is what my mum calls a loudold nissan. The old Nissan is worth more then the amg. Its a clean as vspec r34 gtr. Standard issue hks or whatever exhaust on it with the fart cannon, rims on it, but otherwise stock. Its probably the only nissan that you could sell a kidney and a testicle yet still not afford.

Not old but I don't see many of these on the road at all. In fact, apart from my mate's two examples (he has both a Sprint 6 and an 8), I can't recall ever seeing another one on the road on my daily commute.

Had a Sprint 6 pass me this morning. It was the drls that grabbed my attention in the rear vision mirror. Smoke colour. Surprised me he was out today as it was quite wet. A day I wouldn't even consider driving the XR8 in.

I've seen a few around. See one every few weeks really.

But they really didn't build a hell of a lot of them, and many are stored away. So it's not surprising you don't see many.

Confession: I have always loved the 2000's Holden Monaro. I spotted an early build V2 in that orange launch colour this morning. Stock standard and clean as a whistle, just the way I like it.

I've seen a couple more of the new Yaris now. They must've sold a dozen or so...

I spotted an early 2000's Volkswagen Passat Wagon this afternoon.

These were not big sellers, especially the wagons. This model Passat was the last to be based on the transverse platform it shared with the Audi A4.

I saw a TVR yesterday (not that we ever used to see many of them). Not knowing much at all about TVRs, after looking them up it must have been a Tuscan 1999 - 2006.

Today: Laser GL hatch, red, with green/white Vic plates starting with an 'E' so it's probably about a 1990 model.

Silver colour Starlet 3 door full reg. P plater - I know two people still driving Starlets but there aren't very many on the road now.

Well i don't normally post in here but Bathurst brings out some oddities.

Dont like them, but saw two Sub SVX this week but this one in cracking condition outside Bunnings.

And this one had me scratching my head at Dans. A lot easier these days less hair than before. I do confess i had zero idea what this was without a google. UK kit car Ultima GTR. Curves are handsome front questionable huge air intake over the roof and two big **** pipes hanging out the rear garnish. Very businesslike critter, can't say i'd EVER seen one.

Didn't DJR have something to do with the Aussie Ultima GTRs?

A unusual look but not quite.
Stolen from the Wiki:
The design is mid engined, rear wheel drive layout, with a tubular steel space frame chassis and GRP bodywork

Sub 1000kg

Looks a lot like this one:

White Porsche 928S in “driven daily” condition, back streets of Eastwood NSW as I cut across suburbs yesterday.

Think they were a model blighted by the failure-prone silicone oil headlight levellers.

I saw an FGX XR6 Turbo ute, with ladder racks and lengths of conduit strapped to them. I remarked to the guy he must be one of the few using it as a ute. To his credit he said he bought it to enjoy it every day and it has almost 200K km's

Apart from mine, I hardly see them either, that includes FGX's in general too.

There is a lady in town who has a Winter White FGX XR8, she got hers shortly after mine in 2014, daily driving it ever since. That's commitment, especially with the brittle ride quality and hellacious thirst for 98 ron.

Driving home last night, I spotted a Ford Model T heading out of town. Those are a handful in the best of conditions, let alone sodden wet roads.

there is a Skyline near me in Dandenong on club plates and I see it on the road occasionally.
I imagine we will see more cars on the road now the weather is thinking of changing. My nephew just sent his old RR Silver Ghost to be re-commissioned and says he will drive that about which should be exciting as it is bright yellow.
