I must admit I used to like the look of the BF GT when it came out

Saw a EA S-Pack wagon when they were first released. It was white, fat wheels and dark windows, looked like it was from another universe.

But XB coupe has the woah factor

Well i'm a younger person on here, so for me thinking back the B series Falcons really got me back into Fords. The XR6 Turbo, the new look XR8 with the 5.4L and the birth of FPV with the new GT's, it just got better as the months rolled on after the B series release.

I remember at my old work, one of the guys bought a new 2003 XR6 Turbo, blueprint, luxury interior, 5 speed manual and the optioned 18 inch wheels...the first time I went in it...I had to own one!!!

I loved the interior over the AU, the blue lights at night and the shape of the car. No other Ford had such an impact on me.

And yes the BF, FG etc are better and more refined but for me the BA was the original trailblazer and I would happily go and buy my old BAII XR6 Turbo back anyday.

As much as I am not a plactic bumper'd car fan now, the car that made me sit up and take notice was the XD, the year was 1980 I was 8 Years old and dad took me to Amaroo Park for my first ever motor racing event, there was this (in my eyes) Falcon (like the one my teacher drove only cooler) with 17 on the side. my memory tells me it set the world on fire that day but I cant find any thing to back that up. any how a few weeks later I sat down to watch the Hardie Ferodo 1000 we had a dark brown vinal lounge and thick plush pile blond carpet, I was in compleat awwww watching this I remember Dick cutting the fastest lap at 2.22 and then it all turned horribly wrong on lap 17 (wow how freakys that) he entered the cutting, and well the rest is history
