I have V8 supercar race seat covers. They make my fairmont just as fast as the V8 supercars. And dont even try and tell me they dont, cause I can tell. It just makes it just like a V8 supercar, becaus thats what the seat covers say. Im tired........

Before I took the modifying path I turned up with my bog stock auto phoon to a HSV dealership and took a bit of convincing (it was easier getting a test drive in a AMG) just to go for a test drive.
This is my personal opinion as I came out of an auto hsv senator into a auto typhoon. During the R8 test drive there were a few observations (for autos); -The car firstly felt bigger than the phoon when inside -Felt heavier just driving along in traffic -Under acceleration felt a bit like the GT nothing till 4000revs (no offence intended) -Alot of screaming from the engine but not much going, alot more effort -The auto definately is not suited to the car, the shifts just didn't feel right -Cornering yes had slightly better feel but still felt big around corners -Brakes couldn't see much difference compared to the standard brembos The phoon is my first ford/fpv and did have an SS before the senator. PS. The Phoon in my opinion definately quicker straight line and better overall package. Just my 5.5 cents

At least i know with the Ford I will have seat belts that work ... and won't be worrying about having and underbonnet fire due to leaking fuel lines.
