I went the resonator removal after Phil454 did the same, thanked him for his feedback and pioneering, forgetting the power thing, who knows, nobody dynos this so it is irrelevant but now it makes a noise, at WOT it sounds good, that's all I cared for. I am fond of the standard tips, I think they look great. Invest in an unleashed tune, good power for little cost, delete resonator, and sounds good. IC upgrade on order but thinking I have done the easy power and sound stuff on a budget

Yeah nice, hopefully I can get the delete done today, I'll have to check out the unleashed tune.

Thanks Phil, not the biggest unit out there, but for the price it swayed me, $735 US delivered was attractive to me right now.

Had a search and found it, looks like a nice unit at a good price. Will be interested to hear how it goes in.

On its way, hopefully next week, could fit the following weekend, I would assume no negatives, it wont have a dyno anytime soon if that what you were hoping, but happy to feedback any fitting issues if found

Does anyone know how to reset the service message? My ST just clicked 20,000km and the service message comes up everytime I start it.

when you purchase a xcal3 from unleashed does this include a tune for your setup or does this need to be purchased on top of the xcal ?? I am guess if you do more mods and need a new tune this will cost?

Has anyone bought a set of front floor mats that actually provide protection on the drivers side, mainly under the pedals? Already getting some wear...

Not from factory, aftermarket you can get but since the bad press and deaths of pedals being Jamed by the floor mat manufactures no longer provide a full sized drivers mat.

The tuner comes with his tunes, unit cost $399 US late last year, cheaper now but exchange rate is so kind. I was on board for version 1, since then this has move to version 5 and that latest v5A, they have got better over time, octane rating has always been there, few options with the latest, shift light delete, sound symposer off, and recemtly offered was a redline shift change at the rpm of your choice, I indicated that I have a new IC coming, advised model and capacity, and new files received in no time, now waiting for the IC. Additional cost to this point point is zero. I f you have a spare few hours hours read this:

Isn't it amazing how Torrie can offer such a product and on going service with zero costs to consumers. Unlike our Australian counterparts gouge us at every opportunity.

Great service from Torrie alright, I'd def consider them after reading the above linked thread.

SCT handsets are well used in Ford circles as well so you're getting a high quality bit of hardware too

It is great service, I will admit I have never really worked in small business but he obviously has a strategy, and one that works for me. Lots of businesses quote "customer service", not sure that many deliver, but he does. I have had too many instances of requests that don't takes days or weeks, but merely hours. I guess it paid off as I purchased a new RMM via Unleashed, would have purchased his IC if Levels hadn't given me an insane deal. In my opion the tune product is great, the service is great, but I am sure there are many good products out there, if you have a preferred tuner go with it, the one mentioned here is my first port of call.

Cobb are reputable, no risk there, if that's what you want go with it. I havent tried another tune so I can't compare but the car grows balls in minutes with Unleashed, have stocked the car a few times and have trouble getting boost past mid way, I can report it now hits the max very easily, the car powers, no reports of any problems so I am confident these things can handle it, and it is not in Torries interest to blow motors. Go the tune first and you might be happy to shelve the bolt ons. OK, I am going the IC myself, but for performance I suggest the tune first, if you are greedy you might consider more, up to the individual from there.

The only reason I was considering the COBB tuner was because of the negative impression I have of SCT due to the price of sct tuner for Falcon. Going to order a tuner and engine mount tomorrow then the only bolt ons I want are IC for more efficient cooling in our climate and a intake so I can hear the turbo, I will get the resonator deleted for exhaust sound. After that I will start looking at suspension and brakes.
