They were good years, the BTCC used to be absolutely superb - all the teams would spend many millions on continual development... the names that I can remember which were fighting it out every other weekend (no doubt trying to sell on Monday) were Vauxhall (Gen Motors), Ford, Renault, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, BMW, Audi, Alfa Romeo, Volvo... and no doubt a few others that I can not remember.

If you mentioned someone like Dick Johnson getting involved then, yeah i could buy into that. I'm sure we'll see drivers like Craig Lowndes get involved down the track but Nigel Mansell? come on this is 2008 not 1988! |
