Default nigel mansell

This is what ford needs - a nigel mansell in a falcon driving in a real touring car championship.

I have never seen a better race in my life. Now that is a good driver.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and watch the mansell video!

FG and mansell now that would sell!

They were good years, the BTCC used to be absolutely superb - all the teams would spend many millions on continual development... the names that I can remember which were fighting it out every other weekend (no doubt trying to sell on Monday) were Vauxhall (Gen Motors), Ford, Renault, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, BMW, Audi, Alfa Romeo, Volvo... and no doubt a few others that I can not remember.

yeah i remember that race, that was a good one, but Mansell in an fg, have you seen the size he has gotten too now, he wouldn't be able to get his fat a r s e into a racing car now, he lets his sons do the driving now in the there championships?

What has ANY of this got to do with the FG?

If you mentioned someone like Dick Johnson getting involved then, yeah i could buy into that. I'm sure we'll see drivers like Craig Lowndes get involved down the track but Nigel Mansell? come on this is 2008 not 1988!

Its a hypothetical - nigel mansell at his best in the fg competing in a proper Australian touring car championship.

Moreover, who would be today's equivalent that could do what he did? I am talking both driving brilliance and personality/following??

That vids been around for a few years, but how could you get tired of that. Thats one seriously tough mofo. The scream of the air being tortured by the Kenne Bell is to die for. Unbelieveable how quickly it accelerates.
