Default Focus TDCi choking

Hi all,

Got a minor issue with the TDCi which has been annoying me for a few days now..
When in 1st or 2nd gear the car starts choking\misfire (not sure if thats the right term) when i put my foot down.. if i drive it a bit smoother it drives fine..
Its only when i punch it off the line and when in 2nd gear it chokes and sort of pulls you back before the turbo then spools up and then its fine..
it doesnt happen in any of the other gears..

Ive noticed it happens more often when the car is cold, when the temp gauge is at just under 90degrees i dont notice it so much..

Any one have any ideas as to what it could be? bad fuel? air intake?

Hope someone can help thanks,

Loris.
