Default Borland Racing Tour May 28th

Known primarily for their Spectrum Formula Fords, Borland Racing are Agents for MoTeC data logging systems, historic car restoration and production of the Daytona Sportscar. Lucky for us, a tour has been organised.....

When: Wednesday 28th May.
Where: Borland Racing
39 Industrial Drive
Braeside VIC 3195
Time: 6:30pm.

Formed in 1984, Michael Borland initially prepared and engineered cars to secure four championships with three drivers over five years in the then popular Australian Formula 2 championship.Having proved his mettle as a race engineer, Borland set out to build his own racing car. And so the Spectrum Formula Ford was born.
In the late 1990's, MoTeC founder Richard Bendell began working on developing a road going sportscar inspired by the mid sixties Cobra Daytona Coupe.Borland Racing Developments was commissioned to build the prototype and develop the chassis for production.

Another study found Australians drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year.
That means, on average, Australians get about 41 miles to the gallon.

Kind of makes you proud to be an aussie.

Thanks to all who came along. didn't we all learn a few things. we nearly had a fabulous surprise - Frosty was going to come along, but had sponsor commitments in canberra (as he started with Borland and was quite keen to come along)

using the Fez engine (1.6l)

Human nature at it's best... in the 3 months after the death of Brocky, they had more enquiries - AND orders- then they had normally.

They are re-building Frosty's chassis to original livery and when finished it will go into the discovery centre........

Bosch has very kindly offred a set of the Fusion plug (rrp over $100) to raffle at the next club meeting so bring your gold coins.........

I have put the pics on the website................
