Please help my nephew in a coma :(

I know it is a long shot but my nephew was bashed NYE at Bondi and remains in a coma. If anyone know anything please contact the police.

Why ? I just dont get people anymore ! Cant people just get along,and if you cant turn around and both walk in a different direction.There is a saying too many freaks not enough circuses.

If things were so simple, fact is some types just_like_to_fight, and will even create for their own minds an 'excuse'. I know you can walk away - tried that once, ignored the anti skip jibes - didn't work. A call of 'look out' from another older skip citizen across the road to me, alerted me to the running aggressive pair rapidly and unexpectedly approaching me behind.

The two 'boyz' from the same reported area of earth were at me, near Martin Place in Sydney that evening. Was about two decades ago, I was in plain clothes, but a member of right-wing group National Action and had just left my then job as a barristers clerk. Sports bag I used as defence, hands and legs as offence, forehead to top one off.

Arrival of a Commodore containing two plain clothed detectives saved the last one. They were detained, I walked. I'll be teaching my kids hand to hand combat, survival skills, and will enrole them in karate classes with a Malasian friend of mine. (I lived in Malaysia two and half years).

man i can't stand it when innocent people are bashed to a pulp like this i remember in november 09 i was gang bashed myself and i wouldn't wish it on anyone cause its not just physical repercussions its also mental for me it was becoming an insomniac i was scared to freakin sleep, didn't feel safe at my own home. Thankfully i had family to support my recovery and i got back on the right path again but its a long arduous road and u gotta stick at it. feel sorry for you mate i hope he gets better.

There are some scum ****ers around.

I have been in a situation before where random people have tried to cause confrontation for no reason, just looking for a fight. I left the situation and it worked out good, but there is many times where it doesn't work out.

I hope they find the attackers from the OP and throw them in jail for a long time.

Thanks all for the kind thoughts. It makes a big difference for his mum and grand parents in the picture to know that there are more people that care about some they haven't met than there are turds who get off on hurting people.

I managed to get into ICU tonight and what an experience :( If all goes well, and there are no guarantees, it will be a year before he recovers, if he recovers.

Oh dear people, let go of the rage just a couple of punches can affect so many lives.

No offence guys but there usually is 2 sides of the story most of the time in situations like this and we haven't really heard much from tokyo geoff apart from his nephew being bashed

I have a cousin who is a smartarse trouble maker and can't fight to save himself and he has been in a few scuffles and got his **** kicked pretty bad

Like I said all tokyo geoff said is his nephew got bashed but in fights or any hostile situation there usually is more to the story
No offence tokyo geoff but we haven't heard the whole story I beleive

Purely based off the report I would hazard a guess on the race of the thugs that something was said. Although it would not faze me in the slightest that they were in a group thinking they were top **** and just hit him. Happens all the time in the Valley and down in the nightclub precinct in Surfers.

I don't wish it upon anyone to have to deal with this so I hope your nephew recovers with minimal side effects.

Some great news. He is out of the coma after 11 days. Now begins the recovery and rehab. Hopefully the police make some headway in getting the scoundrels responsible.
