Default Fiesta Manual Gearbox Problem

My neighbour has a 2009 Fiesta 1.6 5 speed manual which he wants to sell. Done 115K kms and full Ford service history. It’s the very first of them built in Germany not Thailand.

He’d like to sell it with a RWC and the current gearbox problems fixed. Namely, jumping out of 2nd & 4th gears and a notchy change into 3rd. It had a 2nd gear problem fixed under warranty early in it’s life.

He recently took it into the local Ford workshop for an opinion & they said faulty syncros. They didn't comment on the notchy change into 3rd, but I reckon it could be worn linkages.

So, is there any Melbourne mechanics who have worked out the problem/s with these boxes and can repair it?
Thanks
