Hey guys, new to ford forums!
![]() Im looking at a Escort Panel Van for my first car, Ive been obsessed with them ever since i can remember! i found a nice Mk2 for $1000 (so far = ebay), with a decent body, 2L pinto and aftermarket manifold fitted. It's unregistered and says it need attention to brakes. I'm in love, but im thinking about the only two seats, and wished it had a bench seat. I was walking down the street and had a look at a old ford Econovan, and saw it had two seats, but the passenger seat was extended to fit two, but still have room for the handbrake on the left of the driver. I thought "BINGO!!!", could this fit in an escort panel van with out too much tinkering? It's pretty far fetched but yeah! Any ideas? cheers, Toby |

I doubt you would get three across in an Escort, there is not a lot of room as they are very narrow. They only have a couple of centimetres either side of the handbrake to each seat as it is.
