Hey guys,
Do mk2 escort 2L struts fit into a mk2 1600 easily? or is there fiddling around involved with strut tops/shocks etc....

the only thing to keep in mind is there is 2 different sizes of strut tops for the MK2 escort.
easy to swap the tops over if required |

Different sizes being?
??? Size of shaft thru top mount rubber bush ? (like Capris) ??? 'Narrow' or 'wide' bolt pattern for top bush? Gurus? Responses pls. |

on Mk2 Escorts there was 2 sizes of strut tops, where they attached to the inner guard if you like, the earlier mk2's were the same diameter as the mk1 & capri's in size with the later being smaller diameter
off the top of my head I can remember the exact dimensions apart from saying it is a major difference hope this clears up any confusion |
