Hi there,
I have recently purchased a 2019 petrol Mondeo Titanium. I have searched the internet high and low and I can’t for the life of me find a service schedule for it. Is anyone able to help me out? I’ve read about transmission issues and would really like to see what the schedule looks like. Thanks in advance! |

Standard servicing - every yr - 10/15000kms - oil, oil/air filt. Plugs 150000kms
If transmission is DCT - every 60000kms (I do mine every 30). I was told not to use this trans a brake. ie/ on a hill, don't use the trans to hold the weight of the car. |

Thanks! How would I know what transmission it has? I’m really struggling to find info on this car. Everything I can find is for a diesel model.

Your car has a "SelectShift" 6-speed automatic transmission (not DCT).
The service book from my 2017 Ambiente shows a fluid change interval of 16 years or 240000km (which seems a lot) or for severe conditions 4 years or 60000km. Coolant change is every 4 years, which is more often than for the diesel. Brake fluid is 2 years. Cabin air filter every 12months/15000km "if necessary". Auxillary drive belts 10years/150000km. Air filter at least every 4years/60000km (I would go more on kms). Fuel filter - not shown for petrol motor (any recommendations?). Spark plugs 4years/60000km (again the kms seem more relevant to me). |

The fuel filter is not normally changed - it's in the fuel tank.

So these transmissions don't require regular servicing like I have read a million times? |

You might have seen that in reference to the "Powershift" dual clutch transmission. They definitely should be serviced every 60,000km (less is better). You have a more conventional transmission which needs less frequent fluid changes. I personally wouldn't leave it to 240 000 though. Probably about half that would be a safer bet, or use the "severe conditions" interval. |

Use a 5W-30 engine oil with Ford spec WSS-M2C913C.
I've been using Penrite Full Synthetic (which is Australian made). I found the genuine oil filter from a dealer to be very reasonably priced ($30.35 for 2 in July 2022). |
