Southern 80 is on Sunday the 13th of Feb, with the Parade in the main street on Saturday, and the bakers blitz qualifier on Saturday arvo.
Top weekend if you like to look at some tough boats and hot chicks.

I'm hopefully going up on Sat to watch the BB, I'll just find a spot on the river near Tourumbary though, not in Echuca, they tell me the BB on Sat is better than the race itself on Sun to watch.

The bakers is only the last 10k's in. It starts at Merool caravan park and finishes at Echuca, if you go out to Torrumbarry you wont see a thing until Sunday.

The best spot is out behind the Echuca cemetary, pretty rough track though

I'm going up. It's worth the trip just to see some of the engines in the boats.

Don't forget the Robinvale SKi Race in the middle of those two somewhere..

Not that I'd bother to drive up the road for that..
