Hi,
Just a couple of questions? Who can supply and do the fitout in Perth. Also how do you switch from satnav to stereo etc..

any ford dealer can fit for you, we do recommend Lande ford please ask for Cliff Beattie. We also use A1 car audio for fitment ask for Tony

the nav comes on automatically once you press power button on remote.

Thanks, just one more. When the GPS is on does it shut down the stereo, bluetooth etc.

I have a 2009 FPV GT-P with 2009 OEM Maps on OEM in car SATNAV
I live in New Zealand.
Can I upgrade the maps with your map upgrades for NZ?
Details of existing Maps are...
NZ GEO SMART 200809
ANNRR200-50
VDO DAYTON MS5200

our maps will not work on your OEM nav, best if you contact a VDO agent and check with them.

you can order a new map for this system from whereis.com.au (aftermarket in dash nav > vdo dayton > ms5200 section) for roughly 200 aud, v19 was just released end of year 2012

Last remote i got for my 2009 g6e t was from a auto elec down springvale vict (around springvale road &wellington road
I rang vdo and they put me onto them ,perhaps same method can put you onto some

Thanks mate! unfortunately it's not the VDO factory unit but some kinda generic unit that ASL have put their brand on. It's possible a VDO remote might work.

If anyone has one of these units fitted (ASL SatNav Gen 3) I'd be grateful if you could post up a pic of the remote.
